I suppose I at least have something specific I can blog about now…the rumblings of my transition from IT professional to photographer. It’s a slow, ongoing process, perfect for blogging. Ha!

I had the idea today, while re-categorizing my online galleries, to put the RSS tool available on smugmug to use. One my organizations was to archive my “best of” from this year into a 2005 category gallery. So now I’ll just start a 2006 gallery and put my best of from each event in that category there going forward. Subscribing to this gallery’s RSS feed gets you all my new “best of” images in that gallery. I know there are many people who watch my site continually during an event season, this would give them a usefull tool. If there’s a way to get a feed of new GALLERIES in a category, that would be execellent also.
