Sometimes this job feels too fun. This was a long day, but I didn’t really feel it, at least not until I got home that night. This was a great couple and a great family, and I *love* gloves. As we close out this year of dance, and I hear the frequent whimpering of “but I wanted to wait until the end of the year to purchase pictures”, I offer you the following tool to ease your pain of looking through all those (awesome) images of your dancer.
For any dance routine from the 2007/08 season, you should be able to find *all* the images from any event I shot by searching for the name of the routine like this:

Capitalization of the routine name is unimportant, but the spelling is critical. If you can’t find your routine this way, you can get a list of all the “keywords” here: http://images.tonyschreiber.com/keyword/. You can also go to one of your pictures in a gallery that you know exists - look below the image for the phrase “keywords:” and the routine name should appear there. If it’s there, click the name to then see all the images that match.

Comments (0)If you want to make your photographer *really* happy, have your entire wedding in one location, especially a nice location. It’s very nice not to have to drive around anywhere, and just “follow and cover”. When you’ve got a great couple too, then it’s quite an easy day at the office. Jessica and Jeffrey were fun and easy to hang out with - everyone was in town to have a good time. On top of everything else going my way, I had the good fortune to work with two great vendors that, as a photographer, can make or break your cheerful mood: the dj and videographer. My video counterpart for this wedding was David Acuna from d&b video productions. Our entertainer was DJ Gregg Pelltio, an affable and genial host. A few weeks ago, I shot a wedding for another photographer who lives in Nashville, the skilled Evan Baines. Evan and I hit it off pretty well and we same to share many of the same sensibilities and ideas about improving one’s art. I even learned a thing or two about lighting - whether he learned anything from me is debatable.
