Thank Your For Your Patience
I have a few brides (and grooms) eagerly (I assume) waiting for their proofs to be ready. Fear not, they are coming, I promise. Pinky swear!

One set down! More coming!

Comments (0)You wouldn’t know it from most of the pictures, but it rained for a good portion of the day and the wind brought cocktail hour inside and mucked with the schedule a bit (what else is new). Anthony is an aspiring wedding photographer (he has three under his belt) and I am truly honored that he chose me for his own.

Comments (0)This was a couple that I hadn’t met before the wedding - but all indicators had been positive (he is a physics instructor and I had texted him questions from Disney World about roller coasters). The event was great, and all in one place, which I love. The groom’s best man described him as mature and grandfatherly, but also a complete goofball.
I’m trying to shake some of “the usual” that I always do and trying to avoid shooting the same shots all the time. Alas, the biggest risk I was willing to take on this day was to mix up my focal lengths a bit. I shot with 35 on 1D3 and 85 on 5D, opposite my go-to setup. I used the 135 a lot more than usual also and tried to keep the 24 in use as well (though usually on the 1D3, so in the end it felt more like the 35 on 5D anyway!).
